If you have previously instructed another firm of solicitors and something has gone wrong with the your claim and it can not proceed because:

• a time limit has been missed
• your case has been struck out because of a delay

• if you feel that you have not recovered the amount of damages you expected ... you may have a claim against that firm of solicitors who were acting on your behalf!

Law firms are required to have compulsory insurance so although you may be disappointed with the result of your accident/injury claim you may be able to claim the same amount of damages from the law firm itself.
